We had a very nice ride today on a gondola ride at Gondola Getaway. We rode in an authentic Venetian gondola . Our Gondolier's name was Fabio, he said he was from Palermo, Italy. He told us about Italy and his family .He was very entertaining , he put Italy music on for us to listen to and he even sang a song for us .
It was a very relaxing hour ride ! Time seemed to fly by as we rode around in the gondola. We saw some really beautiful houses along the way. I alaways wanted to ride in a Gondola in Italy , but I never had the chance to go. But it really seemed like we were strolling along the waterways in Italy today ! Everyone at Gondola Getaway treated us very well ! They even gave us a picture to take home of our gondola ride .
